Dr. Robert A. Horowitz is a highly respected periodontist, implant dentist, researcher, and educator. His background in periodontal health, implant dentistry, bone regeneration, 3D imaging, and surgical treatment planning gives patients a detailed clinical perspective for complex dental needs.
He earned his BS in Genetics and Microbiology from Cornell University, his DDS from Columbia University, completed periodontal training at the Manhattan VA Hospital and NYU, and later completed an implant dentistry fellowship at NYU.
Dr. Horowitz has also served as a researcher and assistant professor at NYU since 1996 and has published extensively in periodontics and implant dentistry.
At the Center for Dental Sleep Wellness, Dr. Horowitz supports patients in the Scarsdale office who need specialty dental care in addition to sleep and airway services.
